I was watching a video of Michael Angelo Batio after somebody reached my site looking for some of his guitar tabs and I was just wondering: why would you need Michael Angelo Batio guitar tabs?
You would probably not be able to do anything with them. I think that no matter how many guitar tabs you will have from Michael Angelo himself, you will not be able to shred the way he does. He did it his whole life and beside that he plays with his both hands at the same time so…
Later edit: it sounded bad. I meant to say that it is not easy to play both hands, if not impossible (for me). If you can do it, you have all my respect. If you can do it the way Michael Angelo Batio does it, then you must be great, so send me a CD and a couple of tickets to your concerts, I will be there!
Anyway, this is not a reason for you to stop trying, just that you should not put all your trust in these guitar tabs you find on the internet! Instead, practice, practice and again…practice!

Michael Angelo Batio plays really fast. That’s it. Fast, boring, fast. There is no other point to his gimmick than that. Oh, and a terrible wig. I’ll take good songwriting over mindless guitar masturbation any day.

Well, he is kind of an athlete of the electric guitar, you can not beat him to this. He has a career behind him based on his speed and unique style of playing 2 electric guitars at the same time. He is a figure we need in this large world of music, along with other players

Batio is a technician rather than a musician but he is very good at both. Sammy, I think you’ll find that is his real hair. =P
The thing that differs MAB from the rest of them, there are many people who can play Vai or Satch songs after playing for maybe 2 years. Nothing against Vai or Satch, they are musical geniuses and are able to write better melodies than Batio, but there are much fewer people who can play MAB songs. Which makes him slightly more unique.

Probably you refer to the fact that there are not many guitar players that can play with both their hands. This is true, but this does not make him a better artist, just a better athlete.
