Well, when you thought you have seen it all, think twice! Take a look at this astonishing black beauty, this ESP DV8 Double-Neck electric guitar, 18 strings of violent, crunchy tone, “Mustaine-approved” as they say.

The interesting part it is the 12 strings neck with 2 sides string tuners. Also, I seems unusual to me the fact that it looks like
it has 2 bodies stuck together instead of one larger body, but this is because of the particular shape of the original guitar. However, I must admit this was not an electric guitar that I would have expected to see in double-neck version.

Now that is a Metal guitar! Perfect for those subtle moments when you need a bit of eerie 12 string arpeggios!

Well, Jon, you are right!! 12 strings arpeggios work like a charm on this one, probably the reason it was discontinued. However, I didn’t quite understand the reason for this 12 strings neck. The obvious reason would be to strum on a clean tone, right? How often would Mustaine strum? I mean, when he plays his electric guitar on a clean tone, he picks every note, so I quite don’t see the reason. OK, the guitar is not made for Mustaine, but for other people buying it. However, 12 strings are a bit too much on this one.

For axlfuckingrose: don’t worry, I had this impression too, that I am looking at a mirrored image of an electric guitar
