As I said, today is the day. The day when the winner of Willie Nelson CDs will be announced.
So, this weekend I have thought about how to do this the right way. I thought about filming myself but unfortunately I don’t have a video camera and it was kind of a short notice to go borrow one from my friends so I decided to…take pictures. Pretty fair, I think.
Initially I wanted to find a software to help me name the winner, but after some thinking I said that the old fashion way is better. So I wrote the name of the “eligible” persons on small pieces of paper, folded them and called my assistant (Ani, my wife) to help me, as a somehow neutral person.
So, here are the pictures from the process:
So, after mixing the small pieces of paper for a while, my wife picked one without looking. She unfolded it, and there it was, the name of the winner: Dr J (http://jinright.edublogs.org).
Well, Dr J, seems you are the lucky one to receive the box set. I will see that you receive the CDs as soon as possible.

I want a recount!!! Kidding… Congratulations to the field and to the excellent contest proctors… especially the lovely Executrix, who we in Texas have wondered how she puts up with the one called Ovidiu… who never sleeps.
So now I think we need a speech from Dr J, or at least a post winning interview. [Sorry about that black eye there Dr J.] One or two Atta-Boy’s.

How cool,PD!!! The pictures you have posted show, indeed, Romanian traditional activities, people dressed in traditional clothes, but, honestly, people only dress like this in the country side, for traditional holidays or when some traditional dancing shows take place.
But they are true, Romanian, just that chances to see young girls dressed like this, well, are very small. Think mobile phones instead, cars, etc.
But you can still find in the villages the horses and unfortunately even in some areas close to the city, sometimes you have the surprise to see horses crossing some roads, next to a BMW X6, if you get my point…
The image with the sheep is however true, you can easily find that in the country side. The truth is that the country side of Romania may be really wonderful and in some cases looking like 300 years ago.
