A New Artist Is Born…

In: My journey Friday May 1,2009

Well, my dear friends, let me tell you that on 26th April, 5 days ago a new “artist-to be” was born into this world: my little daughter, Alesia Maria.

My wife gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl that is going to be a great artist and a great person when she’ll grow up. Says me.

I only posted about it today since this period was really crazy for me, my wife was in the hospital in Bucharest for a few days and I was driving between cities, leaving the very first thing in the morning and coming home late at night, only having the time and mood to take a shower and fall asleep…

But now, when everything settled down a bit, I can tell you I have a wonderful baby girl, named, as I was already told you, Alesia Maria Oprescu, very cute and most of all…very quiet! I can actually sleep, you know!!

I can tell you I am very proud of my little baby girl, she only cries once in a while, she usually stays and looks at me, she has a lot of hair, which is more than I can say about me and she is also a great music critic, you know, she actually falls asleep while I sing to her. I must be really good at this…

So, here she is, Alesia Maria Oprescu, born on 26th April 2009, great artist-to be, daughter of a very proud father!

Congratulations Ovidiu!! She looks gorgeous, my daughter has just turned 4 months and just keeps getting better and better. The first few weeks were hard and tiring as you would expect but it just got easier and easier. Good luck and good health to you all

Thank you all, guys, thank you! Jon, Macks, Sammy, LM, Stratoblogster and Costin, I expected to be a bit more difficult, to be honest, but I told you I sleep like I usually do, she does not wake up over night, or at least she haven’t so far. Now I already think about teaching her a bit of music, but at this stage she’s too young, but I will have patience

Way to go! A beautiful child – all the best to you and your family! Now the difficult decisions start – do you get her a Fender or a Gibson? Maple or rosewood?

Well, let me tell you that from the first moment I have found that I am going to have a baby, I have started to think about buying a new guitar, a small one, so I will first get a travel guitar I guess, but in a couple of years, for the moment I will be the one playing the guitar for her

Wow Congratulations!

She is beautiful and I can tell already she is going to have some beautiful long hair.

As I’m sure you know, time flies and before you know it you will need a big stick to keep all the boys away. lol

Enjoy, it doesn’t get any better than having a wife and children that love you as you do them.

Thank you, guys! I didn’t expect all these nice comments! I am really proud of her and I enjoy every second of this new experience. Regarding the stick…well, I like to joke with the boss of my wife who has a baby boy and another one on the way, that I’ll take a gun for his two boys if anyone of them will come near my girl

Nice guitars, Jon, I think I would like the Mini V model, but it screams too much Hannah Montana Jackson is a bit too dark, I think Mini V would make a nice buy after all Hmm, should I also get her a processor and amps?!! Picture this: hey, honey (wife) I’m not getting this for me, yeah, I’m getting this for her, you know!!

Thank you, Dr J I am thinking to buy her a guitar, Daisy Rock it’s an option. Also the Gibson that Jon showed me, the Mini V is another option. However, maybe such a guitar would make a better start http://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=14-7210/545.0.25034.25035.0.0.0 I’ll just wait a couple of years

I just saw that you used something that I said in a past post, and it was a great post so I’m flattered – sorry I missed it – this year kicked off to a rough start for me.
