When I stumble upon a new blog somewhere on the internet, I read the post that got me there, and if it is interesting and starts my interest, I switch to the “About me” page to see who’s driving the site. What I have observed is that if the About me page contains straightforward, honest information, my perception on the whole site is better, so, after a few days of a default About me page, here’s it!
GuitarFlame.com is a blog about personal musical experiences, my vision of rock music, of electric guitars and acoustic guitars. Also GuitarFlame.com is about how to play the guitar, without being a guitar tutorial website. However I plant to film myself playing some songs, presenting the guitar tabs of the songs I am going to play in a step by step way.
Because I find myself speaking all the time with my friends about how a song is composed, about how is played, about electric guitars techniques, about bands that I discover. By the way, one of my constant hobbies is to find bands I didn’t know about and to find as much as possible about them.
GuitarFlame.com is for rock music fans and guitar players enthusiasts who share my passion for electric guitars.
My name is Ovidiu Oprescu, I am located in Romania, I am 31 years old, I am a full time developer, guitar player by hobby, with 14 years of playing the guitar in semi-professional rock bands. I love the passion of electric guitars, the pureness of acoustic guitars and everything that means rock music. However, because you can not close the soul of an artist between limited boundaries, you will also find here posts about melodies from other genders, songs that meant something to me.
You can contact me at the address contact@guitarflame.com

hi ovidiu, very nice site for those who are fond of music, especialy rock music. many interesting thing worth viewing. i discovered your site by browsing SU and i don’t feel sorry for this. i am an amateur giutar player. this is my hobby.
you know, it’s so relaxing and calming to play your favorite song in your free time, when you feel so tired after a long day of work and study. it gives you hope and wings to fly away and dream of all good things…
i have been playing in a band for half a year, but we split very quickly. i don’t know what was the reason. may be we had different ideas about rock music…
i think that it is so brave to develop such a site knowing that it isn’t so easy, especialy desireing to have 5000 visitors per day. i wish luck.
how did you come to such an idea to creat such a web-site? do your friends help you improving it? how did you learn playing the giutar?
i wish good luck and best regards in future…

Thank you, kapiti, thanks for the nice words and appreciations. That means that you will become a regular reader of my site
Yes, after a long day I love playing my acoustic guitar, usually, at home, there is nothing more relaxing than this. You should not quit playing, find a few friends and play along, even if this means 2 acoustic guitars at your house, music is more than a full band, you have the feeling of accomplishment, happiness when playing the guitar. Don’t let it go!
Well, it is not hard to develop such a website, because I like this subject, I love electric guitars, acoustic guitars and everything that is related to them so I find subjects easy (usually).
My target is set to 5000 and I know it is not easy to do it, but I am very confident in this. You need to be in order to succeed.
The idea of this website came because I found myself speaking to my friends about how a song is made, trivia things about music, etc. I love discovering new bands every day, so this site helps.
Among my friends helping me improving the site I could also count you, my web mates that give me ideas every day. Reading similar sites I get inspired and I write here almost every day.
I started to tech myself guitar by one of those cheap books of chords and low level music theory then by listening various music.
Thank you very much and I wish you good luck too and remember, never give up on your guitar!

salutari.
. Frumos ca iti place muntele. Defapt, scriu acest mesaj ca sa iti adresez o intrebare: in ce formatii ai cantat/canti?
nu stiu cum am reusit sa dau de site-ul tau… dar mi se pare o idee tare draguta. Initial mi s-a parut ciudat ca il ai in engleza, but then again… it all makes sense.
O sa il mai vizitez din cand in cand, sa vad pe unde mai mergi
