A few days back I announced the winner of Willie Nelson’s contest, Dr J.

Today I read he received the box set.

I can tell you this really made my day since this was the first contest ever on GuitarFlame. It was a very interesting moment and I think I will do it again on the first available occasion!

Dr J is one of the regular visitors here, guest blogger on GuitarFlame and he actively comments on this blog. And seems to be a lucky person also so I had all the more reasons to be happy for him.

So, I just want to wish Dr J, happy and pleasant audition!

Man, I love this moment!!

As I said, today is the day. The day when the winner of Willie Nelson CDs will be announced.

So, this weekend I have thought about how to do this the right way. I thought about filming myself but unfortunately I don’t have a video camera and it was kind of a short notice to go borrow one from my friends so I decided to…take pictures. Pretty fair, I think.

Initially I wanted to find a software to help me name the winner, but after some thinking I said that the old fashion way is better. So I wrote the name of the “eligible” persons on small pieces of paper, folded them and called my assistant (Ani, my wife) to help me, as a somehow neutral person.

So, here are the pictures from the process:

So, after mixing the small pieces of paper for a while, my wife picked one without looking. She unfolded it, and there it was, the name of the winner: Dr J (http://jinright.edublogs.org).

Well, Dr J, seems you are the lucky one to receive the box set. I will see that you receive the CDs as soon as possible.

A couple of days ago I was observing I have some unfinished businesses here on my blog, like when I never published my 6th report about my 6 months dare. So I did publish it a couple of days ago.

Now I was thinking about another unfinished business, the Willie Nelson contest, so I decided to finally have the drawing. But since I can’t just do it like this, out of the blue (I need some drum rolls, you know, I need to be dramatic ), I say now that on Monday I will announce the winner.

Until Monday I will think of a proper way to do this and on Monday I will have the drawing. Meanwhile I removed the banner on top of the site about the contest, but, as a last moment chance to enter the contest, here’s again the link to that post so if you haven’t done it so far, you can still enter by commenting on that post.
